About EMIPSEA

This network is part of a thematic programme of FORUM-ASIA that covers seven countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, East Timor, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. The programme seeks to build capacity for advocacy, enable access to justice and the rule of law, and insure the enjoyment of human rights for ethnic minorities and Indigenous Peoples.

Welcome to the EMIPSEA Social Network!

This site is a community space for learning, teaching and discussing ideas, facilitating networking and building relations among peoples, and coordinating common activities that promote and protect the human rights of ethnic minorities and Indigenous Peoples in Southeast Asia.

To achieve these objectives, we ask that community members abide by the following rules:

1.What we can do:
1.1. Please post a photo/symbol representing yourself.
1.2. Post materials (photos, videos, music, blog posts, discussions, etc.) that contribute to the promotion and protection of the rights of ethnic minorities and Indigenous Peoples.
1.3. Discuss ideas that lead to the prevention of discrimination and threats to others.
1.4. Share information that promotes awareness of the situation of ethnic minorities and Indigenous Peoples.

2. What we cannot do:*
2.1. Post commercials/advertisements for products or services, pornographic materials, discriminatory materials
2.2. Use foul or inflammatory language.
2.3. Personal attacks on other members
